Root canal treatments are sometimes necessary to restore teeth in which the pulp (nerve/blood supply) has been damaged or destroyed by bacteria.
The purpose of the treatment is to prevent the loss of the tooth by bacterial infection. We remove the bacteria from the root canals of the tooth and shape the cleaned canals prior to filling them. The tooth can then be fully restored to function.
All of the dentists are experienced in using the latest techniques and equipment to achieve predictable root canal results.
Treatment can be made comfortable by using good local anaesthetic techniques and occasionally intravenous sedation if the patient is anxious.
